What is E-Waste?

Electronic waste or e-waste is obsolete, broken, or unwanted electronic equipment. E-waste is produced when the 30 to 40 million electronic products from our Kansas homes, schools, government offices, and businesses eventually need to be discarded.

E-waste typically includes common electronic items such as:

Typical E-Waste Items
  • Computers
  • Televisions
  • DVD Players
  • VCR's
  • Cell phones
  • Video Games
  • MP3 Players
  • Microwaves

Please check with your local recycler to determine exactly what equipment can be accepted for recycling.
